Biography
Teaching includes "practice strategies" from recent studies with Burton Kaplan of Manhattan School of Music. Also incorporates music theory in understanding repertoire. M.M. SUNY-Binghamton and B.M. Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½ Francisco Conservatory of Music; private studies with Leonard Shure in Boston and coaching with Yvonne Loriod-Messiaen and Roger Muraro in Europe. Recorded Olivier Messiaen's Vingt Regards sur L'Enfant-Jesus and Sweet Irrational Worship: The Niles-Merton Songs. Performed and recorded with The Women's Philharmonic; solo performances in North and South America and Europe. Teaches at UC Berkeley, SF Community Music Center.
Accepting beginning, intermediate, and advanced students.
